Monday- Introduction of Narrative Art used in book covers, complete group activity.
Tuesday- Discuss book cover layout and design.
Wednesday- Introduce project, begin thumbnail sketches
Thursday- continue thumbnails
Friday- begin rough draft


Intro to Art (2nd and 6th Periods)
Monday “Painting in the Style of….”
Tuesday continue on painting
Wednesday- continue painting
Thursday finish and hand in painting.
Friday- hand in painting, complete reading strategies


Graphics (3rd Period)
Monday- Photoshop Project #4-Thumbnail Sketches/Design in Photoshop
Tuesday Photoshop Project #4-Design in Photoshop
Wednesday- Photoshop Project #4-Due TODAY
Thursday- Printmaking Reading Strategies
Friday- Printmaking Demo and Printmaking Exercises.

Advanced Drawing Sketchbook Assignment due Friday 4/27
Sketchbook #12: Action Portrait: Have a friend or family member pose for you while they are doing some type of movement. (jumping rope, walking, riding a bike, walking down stairs, etc.)
Capture the essence of the action in one piece of artwork.
