Below is my weekly schedule so you can see which rotation day your child has art class. Each week I will give an overview of what students will be learning and creating in art class. 7th Grade Art (1st and 7th Periods)
Monday-Finish Notan example.
Tuesday-Introduce Wycinanki-Polish Paper Cutting Technique
Wednesday-Finish Wycinanki example
Thursday-Introduction of first project. Review of Project Requirements and Grading Rubric.
Friday-Begin Developing Ideas and sketches.

Intro to Art (2nd and 6th Periods)
Monday- Introduction of first project. Review project requirements and then begin developing ideas and sketches.(Library to print images if needed)
Tuesday-Sketching-altering image in the style of Cubism
Wednesday-Sketching-altering image in the style of Cubism
Thursday- Enlarge final drawing
Friday-Enlarge final drawing

Sculpture (3rd Period)
Monday- Transfer drawing to Balsa Foam and begin carving.
Tuesday-Continue Carving

Advanced Sculpture (3rd Period)
