*Art at NSE with Mrs. Zink*

Below is my weekly schedule so you can see which rotation day your child has art class. Each week I will give an overview of what students will be learning and creating in art class. I will also include relevant images, information, and links to additional resources. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns!!

October 4th-October 8th

7th Grade Art (1st and 7th Periods)
Monday-Students will continue on Fantasy City Projects.
Tuesday- Students will continue on Fantasy City Projects.
Wednesday- Students will finish Fantasy City Projects. Fantasy Cities are due tomorrow.
Thursday- Students will complete a self-evaluation of their projects and hand in their Fantasy Cities. The students will be introduced to the next unit of study, Artists as Interpreters.
Friday- Students will review key vocabulary and complete a sketchbook assignment.

Beginning Drawing (3rd, 4th, and 5th, Periods)
Monday- Quiz today on one-point, two-point, and three-point perspective. Students will continue on Stacked Boxes project once they have completed the quiz.
Tuesday- Students will continue on Stacked Boxes project.
Wednesday-Students will continue on Stacked Boxes project.
Thursday-Students will continue on Stacked Boxes project. The Stacked Boxes will be due tomorrow.
Friday- The students will complete a self-evaluation of their projects and hand in their projects. The students will be introduced to the next unit of study, charcoal.


Intro to Art (6th Period)
Monday- Students will continue and finish painting their color charts.
Tuesday- Students will be introduced to paper artist Amy Eisenfeld Genser. The students will receive demonstration of paper quilling techniques.
Wednesday- The student will be introduced to the next project, Paper Fruit.
Thursday- The students will begin sketching ideas.
Friday- The students will begin working on their projects.
