*Art at NSE with Mrs. Zink*

Below is my weekly schedule so you can see which rotation day your child has art class. Each week I will give an overview of what students will be learning and creating in art class. I will also include relevant images, information, and links to additional resources. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns!!

September 27th-October 1st

7th Grade Art (1st and 7th Periods)

Monday-The students will learn about two-point perspective and complete a two-point perspective drawing.
Tuesday- The students will review one-point and two-point perspective concepts and vocabulary. The students will be introduced to the next project, Fantasy Cities. The students will sketching ideas.
Wednesday-Students will continue working on their Fantasy Cities.
Thursday-The students will continue working on Fantasy Cities. Students will complete a study guide to help the students study for tomorrow's quiz.
Friday- Students will take a quiz on Unit 2: Artists as Designers. Students will continue working on Fantasy Cities.


Beginning Art (3rd, 4th, and 5th Periods)

Monday- The students will review two-point perspective and complete a two-point perspective drawing.
Tuesday- The students will review three-point perspective and complete a three-point perspective drawing.
Wednesday- The students will be introduced to the next project, Perspective Boxes, and begin sketching.
Thursday-The students will continue to work on Perspective Boxes.
Friday-The students will continue to work on Perspetive Boxes.


Intro to Art (6th Period)

Monday- The students will finish and hand in their Shattered Values Project. The students will review the Window Painting contest requirements and begin sketching ideas.
Tuesday-The students will continue to work on their Window Painting Contest drawing.
Wednesday- The students will be introduced to Texture and complete a texture sketchbook assignment.
Thursday- The students will be introduced to Color and complete a color scheme activity.
Friday- The Window Painting Contest Drawings are due. The students will complete study guide on texture and color. the students will be introduced to next project.
