The students will
review portraits and how to draw the parts of a face. The students will draw a
self-portrait using a mirror.
1st Grade

The students will review the warm and cool colors. The students will complete warm and cool worksheet. The students will learn about new artist Friedrich Hundertwasser. The students will begin project using warm and cool colors.

The students will complete Mosaic Color-by-Number. They will be introduced to Mosaics and view examples. The students will learn the process of creating mosaics. The students will brainstorm and sketch ideas for Mosaic project.

will complete packet and then begin Mandala project by drawing idea and
transferring it multiple times.

review the project requirements. The students will finish and hand in Elements
of Art project. If time allows, the students will be introduced to the Principles
of Design.
5th Grade

Op Art and continue on Op Art worksheet. If students finish, they will begin
brainstorming and sketching ideas for project.
