Below is my weekly schedule so you can see which rotation day your child has art class. Each week I will give an overview of what students will be learning and creating in art class. Monday- Transfer rough draft of Cook Cover to final paper

Tuesday- Begin coloring final Book Cover
Wednesday- Color Book Cover and Review for Quiz.
Thursday- Quiz on Narrative Art. Finish and hand in final Book Cover
Friday- No School

Intro to Art (2nd and 6th Periods)
Monday Watercolor Painting
Tuesday Watercolor Painting-finish details and hand in.

Wednesday- Begin reading packet on drawing facial features/start drawing

Thursday Facial Features Drawings

Friday- No School

Graphics (3rd Period)
Monday-Quiz on Design Principles. Organize and hand in binders.
Tuesday Introduction of Photoshop. Review basic menus and tools. Complete Exercise #1.

Wednesday- Review Photoshop Drawing and Painting Tools. Complete Exercise #2.

Thursday- Review Photoshop Selection Tools. Complete Exercise #3.

Friday- No School

Advanced Drawing (5^th Period)
Monday- Oil Pastel Reading Strategies/Experimentation with oil pastels.
Tuesday Experimentation with oil pastels

Wednesday- Compositional Sketches of Still Life
Thursday- Enlarge most successful sketch to full-size paper
Friday- No School

Wednesday- discuss project requirements and begin developing thumbnail sketches
Thursday- continue developing ideas.
Friday- continue developing ideas.

Monday Go to library to print reference images and complete review worksheet
