Lines, Shapes, and Colors
The
students will review basic lines, shapes, and colors from last week. The
students will practice tracing, drawing, and coloring using lines, shapes, and
colors by completing worksheet. The students will then begin project.
1st Grade

The Elements of Art (Line, Shape, and Color)
The
students will review basic lines, shapes, and colors from last week. The
students will complete drawing activity utilizing lines, shapes, and colors.
They will then start project using Sharpie markers to draw a creative variety
of lines.
2nd Grade
The Caves at Lascaux
The Caves at Lascaux
The
students will review information on the Caves at Lascaux from last week. The
students will finish their worksheet/sketches. They will begin their project
using techniques and methods similar to the artists.

3rd Grade
Texture Rubbing Collage
Texture Rubbing Collage
The
students will review information about texture. They will discuss collage and
the techniques used to make collages successful. The students will sort through
their texture rubbings and cut and glue their best ones into an interesting
composition on black paper.
4th Grade
Realistic Landscape
Realistic Landscape
The
students will review information regarding landscapes from last week. The students
will finish worksheet. The students will follow along to begin a detailed
realistic landscape on the whiteboard which will be later transferred to paper.

5th Grade
Still Life with Value
Still Life with Value
The
students will review basic shading techniques and how to make objects look
realistic with the use of value. The students will finish worksheet. The
students will then learn how to draw 3-D forms such as cubes, cones, cylinders,
etc. They will discuss how the size and placement of the forms changes where
the objects sits in space.

6th Grade
Zentangles
Zentangles
The
students will review lines and patterns. They will finish worksheet. The
students will learn about the techniques associated with making Zentangles and
then begin designing their own.
