Below is my weekly schedule so you can see which rotation day your child has art class. Each week I will give an overview of what students will be learning and creating in art class. Monday- Keith Haring Reading Strategies due today. (1^st Period only)
Continue coloring Perspective Name City.

Tuesday- Keith Haring Reading Strategies due today. (7^th Period only)
Continue coloring Perspective Name City.
Wednesday- Add finishing touches to project and hand in.
Thursday- Introduction and tour of the art room. Review course syllabus.
Friday- Narrative Art Introduction-examine and discuss various artworks.

Intro to Art (2nd and 6th Periods)
Monday Grid photograph and canvas
Tuesday Begin enlarging photograph

Wednesday- Continue enlarging photograph

Thursday Continue enlarging photograph

Friday- Begin painting self-portrait in the style of Chuck Close

Graphics (3rd Period)
Monday- Continue designing logos and writing prompt
Tuesday Continue writing prompt.

Wednesday- Finish and hand in Logos and writing prompt

Thursday- Introduction of Photoshop Project #2-Alter an Image. Begin developing ideas.

Friday- Continue developing ideas and searching for reference images.

Advanced Drawing Sketchbook Assignment due Friday 3/23:
Observational Drawing: Go to a place where you can sit for a long period of time. Capture the essence of the place by sketching the people and places you see. (restaurant, library, bookstore, mall, etc.)
