Below is my weekly schedule so you can see which rotation day your child has art class. Each week I will give an overview of what students will be learning and creating in art class. I will also include relevant images, information, and links to additional resources. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns!!

7th Grade Art (1st and 7th Periods)
Monday- The students will review vocabulary terms and complete class exercise.

Tuesday- The students will learn how to create Notan design.
Wednesday- Complete Notan design.

Intro to Art (2nd and 6th Periods)
Monday- Continue drawing image on 18 x 24 paper

Tuesday- Finish drawing image on 18 x 24 paper. Begin Shading.
Wednesday- Continue Shading

Sculpture (3rd Period)
Monday- Finish Elements of Art Review Worksheet and Sketches
Tuesday- Experiment with materials.
Wednesday- Begin construction of sculpture.

Advanced Sculpture (3rd Period)
Monday- Begin applying Paper Mache to base

Tuesday Continue applying Paper Mache to base
Wednesday- Continue applying Paper Mache to base

Beginning Drawing (5th Period)
Monday- Compositional sketches.Class Critique of sketches.
Tuesday—Compositional sketches-decide most successful
Wednesday-Begin enlarging to 18 x 24 paper.
