                        Start Rainbow Packet

 

1^st grade: Discuss Emotions and how artwork can show emotion through color

            Begin Emotion/Facial Expression worksheet

2^nd grade: Continue Mosiac project (adding colored construction paper)

3^rd grade: Finish Mandalas

            Introduce and Demo Notan designs

 

4^th grade: Continue with blending packet

            Discuss pastels and proper use and blending of pastels

            Practice blending pastels using warm and cool colors

 

5^th grade: Continue Op Art project (Start designing their own optical illusion)

 

6^th grade: Tints & Shades project continued
            Demo grid drawing
            Begin grid drawing worksheets
